Physiotherapy

This center offers a wide range of treatments that cover all the human body’s functional rehabilitation possibilities. It also has the latest machine advances, such as Technogym-Fitness, Cefar-atm, Megatrak-tracción, turbulence, iontoforesis and microwaves, it also has a machine called HUBER LPG, which is used for RPG (Global Postural Re-education). The Isokinetic machines are used for treatments in closed chains, for muscular valorations and anterior cruciate ligament recoveries.

A 60 per cent of the cases, the patients treated in Rihuma, present three pathologies very generalized between the population: neck pain, low back pain and sciatica. Other problems that also affects a huge percentage of population are: a very popular one known as “tennis player elbow” (which is not only suffered for these sportsmen, but also for the general population), knee tendinitis, Aquiles tendinitis or “talalgia” (heels). These treatments are put into practise in one and three hours sessions, depending on the injury. These sessions can be daily applied or alternating the days during a week or weekly.

It is checked that recoveries postsurgery are faster when a rehabilitation treatment is applied. This center is opened from Moday to Friday, From nine to one o’clock and from half past three to eight o’clock, every month of the year.
